Poppy Seed Coffeecake

Easy, delicious

Yield: Serves 16 - 20

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup evaporated milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Place sugar, flour, baking powder, oil, milk, eggs, vanilla and poppy seeds in mixing bowl and mix well. Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan. Mix brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle on top of cake mixture. Bake at 350 F. for 35 - 40 minutes.
