Irish Minted Peas

Yield: Yield 4 servings

Ingredients

1 pkg. (10-ounce) frozen green peas
1 Tablespoon fresh mint, chopped fine
1 teaspoon sugar
water
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Directions:

Add peas, mint, and sugar to saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil and cook 5 to 7 minutes, until peas are tender; drain.

Stir in butter, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately.
