Corn Bread and Hot Dog Bean Bake

Ingredients

1 can (28 oz.) baked beans
1 pkg. (16 oz.) little hot dogs
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
Topping:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) corn muffin mix
milk
egg

Directions:

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large saucepan, combine all ingredients; mix well. Cook over medium heat until bubbly, stirring frequently. Pour into 2-qt. Casserole. Prepare corn muffin mix, using milk and egg as directed on package. Spoon batter over hot bean mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until topping is golden brown.

“My husband loved this, I found it a bit salty to my taste, but it was good. Will keep this recipe on hand for the grand kids, they should love it! Very easy to put together! ”
