Yield: Makes 6 servings
1 | can | (10 3/4 oz.) Cream of Chicken soup | |

1 | cup | sour cream | |
|
|||
1 | cup | onion, chopped (optional) | |
|
|||
1/4 | cup | butter or margarine | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|||
1/8 | teaspoon | pepper | |
|
|||
6 | medium potatoes, parboiled and cubed | ||
|
|||
2 | cups | Cheddar cheese, grated | |
|
|||
2 | cups | chicken, cooked and cubed | |
|
In saucepan, combine soup, sour cream, onion, butter, salt and pepper. Heat until sauce is creamy.
In 2-quart casserole dish, layer the potatoes, cheese and chicken. Top with sauce. Bake for 1 hour at 350 F.
