| 2 | large, ripe avocados, peeled and mashed | ||

| 2 | tablespoons | A.1. Steak sauce | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|
|||
| 1/4 | cup | minced fresh onion | |
|
|
|||
| 4 | slices | bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled | |
|
|
|||
| 6 | slices | tomato | |
|
|
|||
| 12 | slices | San Francisco sourdough bread, toasted | |
|
|
|||
| BASIC A.1. Burgers | |||
|
|
|||
| 1 1/2 | lbs. | ground beef | |
|
|
|||
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | salt (optional) | |
|
|
|||
| 1/4 | cup | A.1. Steak Sauce | |
|
|
|||
Directions:
Prepare Basic A.1. Hamburgers: In medium bowl, lightly combine all ingredients. Form 6 patties to fit bread shape of your choice. Broil, barbecue or pan fry until cooked as desired. Combine avocado, A.1. , salt, onion, and bacon. Serve hamburgers, topped with sauce and tomato, on toast.
