Grilled Margherita Pizza

Ingredients
| 1 | (1/2 pound) | refrigerated pizza dough | |

| 2 | tablespoons | extra virgin olive oil | |
|
|
|||
| freshly ground black pepper | |||
|
|
|||
| coarse sea salt | |||
|
|
|||
| 1/3 | cup | jarred pizza sauce | |
|
|
|||
| 8 | ounces | fresh mozzarella, thinly sliced | |
|
|
|||
| 8 | fresh basil leaves, julienned | ||
|
|
|||
Directions:
Preheat the grill to medium heat and prepare the grates by brushing lightly with olive oil. Stretch and shape the dough into a 10 to 12 inch round. Brush the top of the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with pepper and salt. Place dough, oil-side down, on grill and cook until the underside starts to turn golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes. Brush oil on the top-side of the dough and using tongs, flip the dough. Top the crust with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Cover the grill and continue cooking for an additional 3 minutes, or until cheese has started to melt. Remove pizza from heat and top with basil leaves. Slice and serve immediately.
